
Carlo began making films from an early age and studied Media Production at Bournemouth University where his controversial graduation film 'Chorin A Chance' (1998), which explored the plight of a local heroin addict, secured him the rarely awarded First Class Honours degree.
Since then Carlo has worked on and scripted a variety of television, corporate and commercial projects that includes work for the BBC, ITV, commercials for the War Child Charity and Ford. Throughout this period he has also written and directed a number of short films which include South London Miracle Worker (2003), Constant Battle (2004) and the music video Rainy Daydream (2005).
In 2005, Carlo also wrote, produced and directed the black comedy Smile, which has so far been screened at various film festivals and screening venues.
In 2006 he completed A Man In The Crowd, Eyes Wide Open and Jimmy's Fifteen Minutes.
Carlo's latest film Safe Zone was recently completed and has already been screened and accepted into various national and international film festivals.
